Accord Reviews

The Honda Accord is a large family car available in both saloon and estate versions.  The Accord has been a popular and long-running model for Honda, appearing in various forms since its first introduction in 1976.  The current model, the eight generation of the Honda Accord in the UK, has been on offer since 2008.  The premium look and feel of the Honda Accord has earned it many admirers amongst car reviewers.
In last years JD Power customers satisfaction survey the Honda Accord polled second with an impressive score of 85.2% - compared to and industry average of 79.4% - and reviewers have found the model to be particularly noteworthy for its build quality and reliability.  The Honda Accord has also been lauded for its refinement and ride comfort, although some reviewers have noted that the handling could be improved due to its stiff suspension.
The Honda Accord has scored highly with most reviewers for its safety.  The Honda Accord, with airbags all round as standard, netted a top 5-Star rating from Euro NCAP after extensive crash testing.
The general consensus amongst reviewers is that the Honda Accord is comparatively pricey to buy and, unless choosing from its range of highly regarded diesel engines, costly to run when held up against other cars in its class.  It has also been commented that the saloon version of the Honda Accord is not as practical as some of its rivals, with no hatchback version available, and both boot and occupant space being unremarkable.
However, the majority of reviews have focused on the overall quality of the Honda Accord, and in this regard its reputation appears beyond question.
